    • Yes, Missions for Honduras operates under the umbrellas of churches recognized by the IRS as tax exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • How is my donation used?

    • ​100% of the money donated to Missions for Honduras is used for the actual costs of conducting mission trips for the people of Honduras. No salaries or administrative fees are paid out of missionary fund donations.

  • Can I make a donation by credit card?

  • What does it cost to go on a Missions for Honduras trip?

    • The present cost per person is approximately $1600 including airfare to San Pedro Sula. This amount also covers the cost of food, housing, and transportation while in Honduras. It does not cover the cost of souvenirs, personal items, passports, or immunizations (all of which are the team member's responsibility).

  • How long do the trips last?

    • ​Trips are usually for ten days.

  • Are the trips like a vacation?

    • Absolutely not. Team members stay very busy and typically work long hours in uncomfortable conditions. Simply put, these trips are for workers, not spectators.
